Each Sunday during the 9:00 Mass we celebrate the Children's Liturgy of the Word. This is a formal worship experience suitably adopted to make it relevant to the lives and experiences of young children. Each of our adult leaders follows the same format allowing children to become familiar will the rituals of the Mass.

Children gather with their families and the rest of the church community for the opening prayer. The for the opening prayer. The priest invites children ages 5-10 to follow the adult leader downstairs to the hall to listen to the Word and participate in a dialogue about what they've heard and what it means to their lives. The children rejoin the community during the offertory.

Children can volunteer to carry the lectionary in the procession, color the weekly poster, present a reading or petitions and bring up the gifts during the offertory procession.
